Leadership coaching

Give leaders a structured place to examine the choices, habits and conversations shaping their teams.

Agree the focus

A coaching conversation needs a clear working agreement. Establish what the leader wants to explore, how progress will be reviewed and the boundaries around confidentiality. Keep the focus connected to a real leadership responsibility rather than an abstract ideal of the perfect manager.

Look at the pattern

A difficult situation often contains a repeated habit: delaying feedback, holding too many decisions or assuming expectations are understood. Examine the pattern without reducing it to a personality label. Consider the choices available and the effect each may have on the team.

Try something specific

Choose an action small enough to attempt between conversations. Prepare the words, anticipate the response and decide what to observe. The next session can then examine actual experience rather than only intentions, creating a practical cycle of reflection and action.
